How to Create a Tag for an Applicant in CMST.

Tagging is crucial in any task management system, including CMST, as it offers numerous benefits. Assigning tags to students or applicants is essential because it:

  • Tags help categorize and sort individuals based on specific attributes or needs.
  • Tags improve the efficiency of searching and filtering for relevant information.
  • Tags allow for better monitoring of status and progress related to different tasks or requirements.
  • Tags provide the flexibility to tailor views and reports according to various criteria.

As you might have already noticed, tagging in the Applicants system makes it easy for staff to find what they want. They can find what they need in just a couple of seconds. Here is a simple guide on how you can create a tag

  • Log in to your CMST account.
  • Open the profile of the applicant you wish to tag.
  • In the applicant’s profile, locate the “Action” button at the top corner.
  • Click on the “Action” button and select “Tags” to manage tags.

  • In the “Action” button, select “Tags”, indicated by a tag icon.

  • In the “Tags” section, you can either select existing tags to assign to the applicant or create a new tag if needed.

  • To add a new tag, type the tag name and click “Create Tag.” To assign an existing tag, click the drop-down arrow next to the “Tags” box and select the desired tag.

  • Alternatively, you can manage tags from “Settings” in the left pane. Click on “Settings” and go to “Scheduling and Tagging“, then select “All Tags” to view and manage tags.

  • Here, you can also customize user access to specify who can view or manage the tag.
