Introducing Workflow in CMST

Workflows are lists of processing statuses inside a country. Previously, each country could only have a single list of processing status, limiting several use cases such as other VISA processing and events. Now, by creating multiple workflows, you can cover as many processing scenarios as possible.

What’s changed

  • Now, when you create a Visa Processing, you must select a workflow first after choosing a country.
  • All countries you have in Abroad Section will have a workflow named ‘Default‘ which has the list of statuses that you had before.
  • If the workflow that you selected when creating a Visa Processing doesn’t have ‘Show University’ enabled, then you won’t see the fields related to the university and course in the Visa Processing form.

Manage Workflow

  • Head over to Workflow from the left navigation panel.
  • Select the desire countries workflow you want to manage.

  • The workflow page will open next to the tab. Click on Add Workflow to create a new workflow.
  • Enter a name for your workflow, and select Assign University if you want the Visa Processing’s with this workflow to have the option to choose university and course. If you don’t enable Assign University, then you won’t see fields related to the university and course when creating a Visa Processing with this workflow inside an applicant’s profile.

  • To manage statuses for any workflow, click on the Action icon(three-dot) to the right, and click on Manage Status. You can then continue managing statuses as you did before. You can also mark any workflow as default by clicking on Mark as the default action. Workflow that is default (highlighted by a green Default chip to the right of its name), will be selected automatically for that country when you open the Visa Processing form.
